Rental Agreement / Driving License
a) The renter is obliged to take care of the car as well as a caring person on his / her own and to exercise special care and caution when driving. The renter undertakes to use the car only in the normal way for it.
b) The renter undertakes to drive the car himself. He may only hand over the car to another person or to another if the lease is expressly authorized to do so. The restriction does not apply to persons employed by the renter or belonging to his or her household. The renter (driver) must have a valid driving license and at least one year's driving experience. In addition, he must meet the age requirements of the rental office. The renter is obliged to inform the person to whom he or she forwards the subject of this Agreement about the contents of this Agreement.
It is forbidden to use the car for illegal purposes, towing, competitions or their exercises, driving lessons and driving on ice outside the officially marked iceroads.
When the car is parked for a moment, it must be locked.
Hire hands over the car to the renter, both parties should check the condition of the car to prevent disputes regarding the time of damage
Responsibility for the car and its equipment during the rental period
Renter's basic liability
The renter is obliged to up to the limit of the deductible stated in the Agreement:

For the period of standstill damage, pay the daily rental fee under the lease agreement, which is recorded in the lease, however, for a maximum of 30 days. The standstill period begins to run from the date of damage. However, the renter will be released from liability if he / she is likely not to have acted negligently.
One rental day is 24 hours from the time of pick-up.
The renter's responsibility for any damage
If the damage to the car or the rental company is the result of the renter's intention, gross negligence, use of the car under the influence of alcohol or other narcotic substance, for a criminal purpose or if the renter has otherwise materially violated the terms of this agreement, the renter is obliged to compensate the rental company in full.
Release of renter from liability
The renter is released from liability if the lessor receives full compensation for the damage on the basis of the insurance or the cause of the damage.
Other payment obligations
The renter is obliged to pay all the costs incurred during the rental period for the use of the car, parking and parking charges as well as the overload fee.
Payments for rental and cancellation policy
The car will be handed over when the prepayment is made using a credit card or a Finnish bank card. A prepayment is half of the car rent.
The renter undertakes to pay the rent in accordance with the payment schedule of the Agreement. The rental agreement comes into effect when the reservation is made.
If the renter cancels the reservation no later than 2 days before the begin of the rental period, the renter is entitled to charge 40% of the rental price. If the cancellation occurs 1 day before the start of the rental period, the renter is entitled to charge 70% of the rental price. If the cancellation is made 0 days before the start of the rental period, the renter is entitled to charge the full cost of the rental period. An exception is a medical certificate certified by a medical doctor. In the event of cancellation, the renter will return any other payments paid.
The other method of payment of the rent may be agreed upon at the beginning of the rental by entering it in the rental agreement. If the renter or the entity is not renting, the person who signed the contract is responsible for paying the rent.
The renter's obligation
The renter must hand over the car to the renter in a proper and legal manner at the time the car is booked and at the agreed place. In addition, the renter is obliged to give the renter sufficient guidance and instructions on how to use the car. If the renter does not receive the car in accordance with the reservation made, he may claim a rent reduction corresponding to the error or cancel the contract. The renter may claim damages for damage caused by the delay.
As a rule, car delivery and pick-up will take place at Rovakatu 24 parking lot, but in some cases it may be agreed that the car will be delivered to the place indicated in the rental agreement.
Fuel and car care
The renter pays the fuel he needs. The car is returned to the renter with full tank. The renter must indicate the type of fuel to be used this. The renter is liable for any damage caused by the use of the fuel of inferior quality. During the rental period, the renter is obliged to check the car for normal checks, such as the amount of engine oil, coolant and battery fluids, tire pressures, etc.
Renter actions in case of error, damage and theft
The renter must immediately inform the renter of any fault or car accident or theft in the car. The police must be notified without delay of theft. The rental company must then inform the renter of the steps to be taken as a result of the event. However, the renter may, without informing the rental company, repair the car at the expense of the rental company up to a maximum of EUR 150 if it is necessary for the continuation of the trip. In this case, the renter must obtain a certificate of repair made by the dealer who has repaired the car as well as a specified voucher for the payment made.
If the renter neglects to make the above-mentioned notices, he / she will be liable to the renter for any resulting damage.
If a technical fault or other mistake occurs in the car during the rental period, the renter may require an error correction or a rent reduction corresponding to the error. If the condition of the car is material, the renter may require the termination of the contract. However, the contract cannot be terminated if the rental company provides a replacement vehicle within a reasonable time. In the event of damage caused by fault or error, the renter may claim damages up to the amount of the lease.
The car can be handed over on the night before the rental, at around 20, depending on the end of the previous rental without additional costs. The renter is obliged to take care of the car as well as a caring person on his own and to exercise special care and caution when driving. The renter undertakes to use the car only in the normal way for it.
Returning the car at the end of the rental period under the agreement
The car must be returned to the agreed place at the end of the agreed rental period. Changes in the time or place of return must be agreed in good time with the rental company. The rental period under the agreement ends when the car is returned to the rental company or when the rental company has received the renter's notice of returning the car to a place approved by the rental company.
If the car is not returned at the end of the rental period and the rental period has not been agreed with the rental company, the police will be informed.
If the renter fails to comply with the obligations stated in this clause, the rental company is entitled to charge a reasonable compensation for the financial loss caused to the rental company.
Returning the car before the agreed rental period expires
If the renter returns the car before the end of the agreed rental period, the earlier return of the rental car does not oblige the lessor to return the rent paid to the renter.
The renter shall have the right to terminate this agreement during the rental period if it becomes apparent that the renter is in serious breach of this agreement or that the renter is not able to handle the car appropriately. If the use of the car is prevented due to damage or theft, the contract will be terminated upon the damage or theft of the notice received by the rental company. Upon leasing the rental company, the renter is obliged to return the car to the renter without delay.
Exporting a car outside Finland
Moving a car abroad always requires a written permission from the rental company. The rental car insurance cover and the deductible terms agreed in the lease agreement are valid only in Finland.
If the dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties, the renter may refer the matter to the Consumer Complaints Board. If disagreements are brought to court, the action must be brought before the sub-court of the renter´s place of residence, unless the renter wants to bring an action before the general court of the place of residence of the tenant.
